How wireless loggers measure temperatures continuously

Each sensor measures the temperature of your cold chamber (positive or negative temperature) at regular intervals. Temperatures are transmitted to Octopus HACCP via a hub. This system does not require the installation of an internet connection in the kitchen.

All your temperatures are automatically recorded and visible from your Octopus HACCP dashboard.

As soon as an anomaly is detected, a temperature alert is sent to you by SMS and/or email.

How am I alerted by connected data loggers in case of a problem?

When a temperature issue is detected in your cold room or freezer, you receive an alert by SMS or email.

You can select the sending frequency as well as the sensor sensitivity to be alerted at the right time if a problem occurs.

The HACCP method requires you to guarantee the cold chain at all stages of your goods’ lifecycle: receipt, storage, and processing, according to the decree of December 21, 2009.

Is the installation of wireless temperature recorders compatible with all my cold cabinets?

Yes, of course! Whether you’re using a cold room, stamps or freezers, the sensors attach to the wall of each of your cold rooms using a self-adhesive system. So you don’t have to pull any wires or cables. The sensors are delivered pre-configured, so all you have to do is stick them on!

You’ll receive a 2G-connected Hub to collect information from the sensors. Likewise, you won’t need to connect it to the Internet – a simple power outlet near your cold speakers will suffice. Installation in just a few minutes, guaranteed!

What if I don’t have an internet connection in the kitchen?

No problem! The equipment supplied to you works autonomously. All you need is an electrical outlet.

If you can get 3G/4G/5G on your phone (even if it’s a bad one…) in your kitchen, the sensors will work perfectly!
